I've been using a free mind mapping software for the last couple of months and it is just fantastic! One of the ways I am using it is that I have created a strategy mind map for the CoachNetwork business, with branches for each of the business areas. i.e. Website, Management, Customer Service, Team, Marketing, Sales & Production. Then within each of those branches, broken down the outcomes and within those the specific action items.
I use little number 1 icons to highlight my top priorities and then use little green ticks to mark completed items. It's a satisfying process!
