Debbie is passionate about people and communication and that has led her to the art of coaching. She uses her coaching skills at The Edge Coaching to provide individuals and teams with the edge they need to get ahead in their professional and personal lives. Debbie is particularly skilled in career / transition coaching (e.g. Mothers returning to work); communication skills; cross-cultural coaching and business coaching.

Debbie’s path to coaching has taken her across continents, industries and roles. She completed a Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Melbourne before embarking on her career at Colonial Financial Services as a Graduate in Human Resources. A move to IBM fostered her project management skills and she quickly became a Programme Manager across Asia Pacific projects, strengthening her interest in cross cultural workplace relations. Relocating to the UK for 5 years provided valuable work and life experience of cultural change. Whilst there, Debbie worked within the Financial Services Industry, Government and IT, strengthening her project management, communication and cross cultural teaming skills.

Upon returning to Australia in 2008, Debbie returned to an IT Project Management role but realised that she was ready to pursue other interests and retrained to become a qualified Business Coach.

Debbie is completing her Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching whilst building up The Edge Coaching where she aims to provide bespoke coaching for individuals and teams based on industry standard coaching tools and models.

An open-minded, energetic approach to coaching based on the clients needs; aspirations and strengths are Debbie’s core values as a coach.
